As someone who experienced mentall health issues this book really made me emotional sometimes. Her illness made me somewhat disgusted in the beginning, but just like Aza I learned to live with it, which was very interesting to me. I do think that the plot was a little weird and therefore it isn’t my favorite John Green book, but still he keeps impressing me with all of his books.
This is definitely a recommendation to anyone. It’s important to know that struggling with any mental illness can be very difficult and life changing.
